While in transit...
Just figured I would drop a quick entry into this here blog while I'm on my way out to our final destination. Currently in Kyrgyzstan, at Manas, AFB. Have some pictures to post, but that's going to have to wait until I get settled in my hooch downrange. Have a few pictures from the start of the trip, but pictures are going to be far and few between from here on out as I have to ensure that there is nothing that can be exploited in them. Patience is all I can ask. Should have a nice long post sometime in the next week or so...until then, peace!

Starting something new...
This one's going to be pretty short. For the longest time I was utilizing the Myspace blog section to blog. However, seeing as though I am not going to be able to access that site when I go downrange soon, I have to adjust fire. Hence this new blogspot page.
Seeing as though this is the first post of a new blog, I'm going to go over some basics of what I will and will not be covering here. Better yet, let me go over what I will most deffinitely NOT be covering.
1. There will be absolutely NO discussion of what I do specifically in the military. The closest you will get to that is I will go over some basic language lessons with you in Persian Farsi. That's about all I'm willing to discuss about what I do in the military.
2. See number 1.
That pretty much sums up what I will and will not be discussing on this blog. Everything else is fair game. I will warn you, I will occasionally pop out with the "vent post". I'll do this to blow off steam, and will usually start the post out with a token disclaimer. I will try to keep those to a minimum, as I do not want this to become just a whiner's page. I'd like it to be somewhere you can go to read about my life, things that I've experienced, places I've been, and maybe learn a little something. As stated above, occasionally I'll even give a brief little class in Farsi once I figure out how to upload the font tool for Blogspot. I think you'll get a kick out of that.
One of the things that I've found, is that especially for the pool world, blogs are pieces to a puzzle of what's going on in the pool world. If I can add another piece to your puzzle, however miniscule, then I'm entirely pleased. I'm going to be posting some of my recipe's on here as well and I must give credit where credit is due to OMGWTF, as that is one of the staples to her Blog. Of course, with my upcoming trip, those will most likely not happen until after I return.
